The source of information are the official surveys of the National Statistical Institute and some other departments and institutions.

The electronic publication presents information on the territory and administrative-territorial division of Ruse District. Data on the socio-economic status of Ruse District during the 2002-2004 period are published by main economic indicators, population, health, employment, household income, expenditure and consumption, social assistance, education, justice, tourism, dwelling stock and a structure of dwellings by number of rooms and agriculture. Most indicators are given by municipalities.
