The National Statistical Institute presents to the users of statistical information first electronic (on CD-ROM) publication Social Protection Statistics 2000 - 2007. The publication contains information on receipts and expenditure by social protection schemes, as well as data on benefits and allowances provided by ESSPROS functions.

The National Statistical Institute presents to users of statistical information the annual publication - Statistical Reference Book 2009 in English. It is a concise form of the same issue in Bulgarian.

The issue is with a new design and enrich contents. For the first time are included methodological and analytic notes towards all chapters. The information is illustrated with a rich graphic materials.

Тhe National Statistical Institute and the Regional Statistical Office of Sofia District would like to introduce to the attention of the users of statistical information the electronic publication (in Bulgarian only) Statistical Review of Sofia District 2008 on a CD.

The issue contains statistical data on the demographic, economic and social development of Sofia District for the 2004 – 2007 period. Some indicators for 2008 are also published.

The National Statistic Institute and the Regional Statistic Office of Pleven would like to introduce to the attention of the users of statistical information the electronic publication (in Bulgarian only) Statistical Review of Pleven District 2009 on a CD.

The issue contains statistical data on the demographic, economic and social development of Pleven District for the 2006 – 2007period. Published are also some indicators for 2008.

The National Statistical Institute and Regional Statistical Office of Sofia submit to the attention of national and foreign users of statistical information the bilingual (Bulgarian/English) electronic edition ‘Sofia in Figures 2009’.

The publication is a continuation of the periodicals ‘Sofia in Figures’ issued by the Regional Statistical Office of Sofia.

Тhe National Statistical Institute and the Regional Statistical Office of Pernik would like to introduce to the attention of the users of statistical information the electronic publication Statistical Review of Pernik District 2009 (in Bulgarian only) on a CD.

The issue contains statistical data on the demographic, economic and social development of Pernik District for the 2004 - 2007. Published are also some indicators for 2008.

The National Statistical Institute presents to the users of statistical information the second recently published issue of a quarterly bilingual (Bulgarian/English) publication Main Short-Term Indicators. The publication is available as a printed edition and electronic version on CD-ROM.

The publication contains up-to-date information concerning the situation and the development of the material sphere in short-term aspect by branches: industry, construction, trade, transport and other services as well as tourism, labour market and investment.

The National Statistical Institute presents to the users of statistical information annual electronic (on CD-ROM) publication Foreign Trade of the Republic of Bulgaria 2009. The publication contains information on exports and imports from/to Bulgaria for 2008.

Data by some indicators, such as: titles; circulation; average circulation of books, pamphlets, newspapers, magazines and bulletins for the 1960 - 2008 period, are also included. In the publication are also included methological notes and brief analysis.
