The National Statistical Institute has the pleasure to submit to the attention of users of statistical information the first recently published issue of a new quarterly bilingual (Bulgarian/English) publication ‘Main Short-Term Indicators’. The publication is available as a printed edition and on CD-ROM.
Statistical Review of Shumen District 2009
The National Statistic Institute and the Shumen Regional Statistic Office would like to introduce to the attention of the users of statistical information the electronic publication Statistical Review of Shumen District 2009 (in Bulgarian only) on a CD.
The issue contains statistical data on the demographic, economic and social development of Shumen District for the 2005 - 2007. Published are also some indicators for 2008.
Environment 2007
The National Statistical Institute informs users of statistical information that the annual bilingual (Bulgarian-English) publication Environment 2007 (printed and electronic version on CD-ROM) is already available. The publication contains environmental data from NSI statistical surveys in 2007. The main indicators are presented for the 2003 - 2007 period.
The information is systematized in the following sections:

Road Traffic Accidents in the Republic of Bulgaria 2008
The National Statistical Institute presents to users of statistical information the electronic publication Road Traffic Accidents in the Republic of Bulgaria 2008. The issue is a joint edition of the Ministry of Interior and the National Statistical Institute.
It contains tables with annual information about the road traffic accidents, killed and injured persons registered in Bulgaria during 2008, distributed by:
- districts and municipalities;
- nature of accidents;
- location and by class of road;
Local Government Authorities in the Republic of Bulgaria 2009
The National Statistical Institute presents to the users of statistical information the electronic publication Local Government Authorities of the Republic of Bulgaria 2009.
The issue is bilingual (Bulgarian/English) and contains results from the NSI comprehensive survey of the Local government authorities of the Republic of Bulgaria as of 31.03.2009. It includes information about elected municipal councillors and persons employed in the district, municipal and mayoral administrations in the country.
