Business Conjuncture, October 2015
In October 2015 the total business climate indicator increases by 1.0 percentage point in comparison with the previous month which is due to the improved business climate in industry, construction and retail trade.
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in September 2015
In September 2015, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 450.9 thousand or by 10.8% above the registered in September 2014. The trips with other purposes (as a guest, education and visit the cultural and sport events) in September 2015 composed the greatest share of the total number of trips of Bulgarian residents abroad - 40.1%, followed by the trips with holiday and recreation purposes - 37.8%, and with professional purpose - 22.1%.
In September 2015, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 1 055.9 thousand or by 4.7% under the level of September 2014. A decrease was registered in the trips by all observed purposes: with professional purpose - by 17.7%, with holiday and recreation purpose - by 4.1% and with other purposes - by 0.2%.

Poverty and Social Inclusion Indicators in 2014
According to the data from the NSI ‘Social Inclusion and Living Conditions’ (EU-SILC) survey in 2014 the average monthly poverty line for the country is 323.75 BGN per person. The number of persons who are below this line is 1 578.3 thousand representing 21.8% of the population in Bulgaria. In 2014 the share of children aged 0 - 17 years in at-risk-of-poverty is 31.7%, or approximately 377.3 thousand.
Inflation and Consumer Price Indices in September 2015
The consumer price index in September 2015 compared to August 2015 was 99.9%, i.e. the monthly inflation was -0.1%.
Activity of Accommodation Establishments in August 2015
In August 2015, 3 029 accommodation establishments - hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation with more than 10 bed places were functioned in the country. The total number of the rooms in them was 132.1 thousands and the bed-places were 299.0 thousands. In comparison with August 2014 the total number of accommodation establishments (functioned during the period) increased by 3.6% and the bed-places in them - by 2.3%.
The total number of the nights spent in all accommodation establishments registered in August 2015 was 5 159.8 thousands, or by 1.4% more in comparison with the same month of the previous year. The total revenues from nights spent in August 2015 reached 259.4 million BGN or by 8.2% more compared to August 2014.
Bulgarian Trade with Third Countries in the Period January - August 2015 (preliminary data)
In the period January - August 2015 the Bulgarian exports to third countries increased by 5.3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to 11.0 Billion BGN while the imports decreased by 2.8% and added up to 12.5 Billion BGN.
In the period January - August 2015 the total value of all exported goods (both for third countries and EU) amounted to 30.3 Billion BGN and compared to the corresponding period of 2014 the exports grew by 8.0% while the total value of all imported goods added up to 34.0 Billion BGN and increased by 3.1%.
Bulgarian Trade with EU in the Period January - July 2015 (preliminary data)
In period January - July 2015 the Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 10.1% compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 16.8 Billion BGN while the imports grew by 8.5% and added up to 19.2 Billion BGN.
In July 2015 the exports to the EU decreased by 0.5% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and added up to 2.6 Billion BGN while the imports grew by 12.2% and amounted to 3.1 Billion BGN.
Construction Production Indices in August 2015
According to the preliminary data, in August 2015 the index of production in section ‘Construction’ calculated on the base of seasonally adjusted data was 1.0% below the level of the previous month. In August 2015 the working day adjusted index of production in construction decreased by 0.4% in comparison with the same month of 2014.
