In 2015 59.1% of households in Bulgaria had access to the internet at home, which was a growth of 2.4 percentage point, compared to the previous year. There was also a growth of 0.9 percentage points of the individuals aged 16 - 74 years who were using internet every day or at least once per week and 31.2% of them used cloud services (storage space on the internet) for data storage and file sharing.
Activity of Accommodation Establishments in October 2015
In October 2015, 2 020 accommodation establishments - hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation with more than 10 bed places were functioned in the country (Annex, Table 1). The total number of the rooms in them was 71.6 thousands and the bed-places were 150.4 thousands. In comparison with October 2014 the total number of accommodation establishments (functioned during the period) increased by 4.4% and the bed-places in them - by 4.8%.
The total number of the nights spent in all accommodation establishments registered in October 2015 was 727.8 thousands, or by 3.7% more in comparison with the same month of the previous year. The total revenues from nights spent in October 2015 reached 36.0 million BGN or by 4.2% more compared to October 2014.
Bulgarian Trade with Third Countries in the Period January - October 2015 (preliminary data)
In the period January - October 2015 the Bulgarian exports to third countries increased by 0.8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to 13.6 Billion BGN while the imports decreased by 6.2% and added up to 15.5 Billion BGN.
In the period January - October 2015 the total value of all exported goods (both for third countries and EU) amounted to 38.1 Billion BGN and compared to the corresponding period of 2014 the exports grew by 5.9% while the total value of all imported goods added up to 42.8 Billion BGN and increased by 1.1%.
Bulgarian Trade with EU in the Period January - September 2015 (preliminary data)
In period January - September 2015 the Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 9.2% compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 21.7 Billion BGN while the imports grew by 5.9% and added up to 24.3 Billion BGN.
In September 2015 the exports to the EU increased by 4.5% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and added up to 2.485 Billion BGN while the imports decreased by 2.9% and amounted to 2.673 Billion BGN.
