Households Income, Expenditure and Consumption in 2010
The average annual income per household member in 2010 is 3 812 BGN or 1.4% less compared to 2009. Greater part of the income - 95.7% is received as current revenue from wages, pensions, social assistance benefits, child allowances as well as from entrepreneurship and sales of property. The rest of the total income reported - 4.3% is due to loans, credits and savings.
Inflation and Consumer Price Indices in March 2011
The consumer price index (CPI) in March 2011 compared to February 2011 was 100.6%, i.e. the monthly inflation was 0.6%.
The harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) in March 2011 compared to February 2011 was 100.4%, i.e. the monthly inflation was 0.4%.
Bulgarian Trade with Third Countries for the Period January - February 2011 (preliminary data)
In the period January - February 2011 the Bulgarian exports to third countries increased by 65.5% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to 2.4 billion levs while the imports increased by 49.6% and reached to 2.6 billion levs.
In the period January - February 2011 the total value of the exported goods (both for third countries and EU) reached almost to 6.0 billion levs. Compared to the corresponding period of 2010 the exports increased by 58.9% while the total value of the imported goods was for 6.2 billion levs and increased by 36.3%.
Bulgarian Trade with EU in January 2011 (preliminary data)
In January 2011 the Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 74.1% compared to the corresponding month of previous year and amounted to over 1.8 billion levs while the imports increased by 37.5% and amounted to over 1.7 billion levs.
Construction Production Indices in February 2011
According to the preliminary data of the NSI, in February 2011 the index of production in section ‘Construction’, calculated on the base of seasonally adjusted data, was 1.1% below the level recorded the previous month.
Industrial Production Indices in February 2011
The preliminary data showed that the Industrial Production Index, seasonally adjusted decreased by 1.4% in February 2011 as compared to January 2011. The working day adjusted Industrial Production Index rose by 15.2% as compared to the same month of 2010.

Homes for Medico-social Care for Children in 2010
The number of Homes for medico-social care for children at the end of 2010 is 32 with capacity of 3 854 places. 2 455 children are accommodated there.
The trend of decreasing of the total number of accommodated in the Homes for medico-social care for children continue in 2010. The decrease by 8.4% compared to the end of 2009 is observed as of 31.12.2010.
Anti-Social Acts of Minor and Juveniles in 2010 (Preliminary Data)
A tendency to regression of the number of minors and juveniles registered in the Child pedagogic rooms by 8.0% is observed in 2010. Their number in 2010 is the smallest for the past few years – 12 108.
The number of minors and juveniles new entrants (for the first time registered) in the Child pedagogic rooms in 2010 is by 0.3% more in comparison with 2009 and amounted to 4 170.
