Industrial Production Indices in May 2012

The preliminary data showed that the Industrial Production Index seasonally adjusted increased by 0.9% in May 2012 as compared to April 2012. The working day adjusted Industrial Production Index rose by 0.9% as compared to the same month of 2011.

Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, May 2012

Production of solid fuels in May 2012 compared to April 2012 increases by 26.5%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 6.2% and transport diesel - by 1.9%. Decrease is reported for the production of electricity by 2.5%. There is no change in the production of liquefied petroleum gases.

Deliveries of solid fuels in May 2012 compared to April 2012 increase by 28.1%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 63.3%, transport diesel - by 33.6%. Decrease is reported for the deliveries of liquefied petroleum gases - by 9.7%, natural gas - by 2.3% and electricity - by 4.7%.

Producer Price Indices in Industry, May 2012

Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in May 2012 decreased by 0.9% compared to the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2011 the domestic prices grew by 4.3%. Total Producer Price Index fell by 1.7% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2011 the prices went up by 3.2%.

The harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) in May 2012 compared to April 2012 was 99.9%, i.e. the monthly inflation was -0.1%.
