Producer Price Indices in Industry, June 2012
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in June 2012 decreased by 0.8% compared to the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2011 the domestic prices grew by 3.3%. Total Producer Price Index fell by 1.2% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2011 the prices went up by 2.3%.
Business Conjuncture, July 2012
In July 2012 the total business climate indicator increases by 1.1 percentage points compared to its level from the previous month as improvement is registered in industry, construction and retail trade, while in service sector - deterioration.
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in June 2012
In June 2012 the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 361.3 thousand or by 3.7% more than in May 2012 and by 9.9% above the registered in June 2011.
Market Price Indices of Dwellings for the Second Quarter of 2012
The market price index of the dwellings for the second quarter of 2012 compared to the first quarter of 2012 was 100.2%, i.e. the average increase of the market prices of the dwellings was 0.2 %.
Crimes, Accused Persons and Persons Convicted in 2011
In 2011 the trials ended with penalty inflicted cover 36 707 committed crimes. The number of persons convicted with penalties came into force was 41 013. Compared to 2010 an increase of the number of crimes with penalties inflicted and persons convicted was observed by 3.7% and by 5.0% respectively.
Inflation and Consumer Price Indices in June 2012
The consumer price index (CPI) in June 2012 compared to May 2012 was 99.0%, i.e. the monthly inflation was -1.0%. The inflation rate since the beginning of the year (June 2012 compared to December 2011) was 0.5%.
The harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) in June 2012 compared to May 2012 was 99.5%, i.e. the monthly inflation was -0.5%. The inflation rate since the beginning of the year (June 2012 compared to December 2011) was 0.7%.
Activity of Accommodation Establishments in May 2012
In May, 1 932 accommodation establishments - hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation with more than 10 bed places were functioned in the country.
Bulgarian Trade with Third Countries for the Period January - May 2012 (preliminary data)
In the period January - May 2012 the Bulgarian exports to third countries increased by 3.3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to 6.4 billion Levs while the imports increased by 15.8% and added up to 8.5 billion Levs.
In the first five months of 2012 the total value of all exported goods (both for third countries and EU) amounted to 15.9 billion Levs and compared to the corresponding period of 2011 the exports increased by 0.9% while the total value of all imported goods reached 20.1 billion Levs and grew by 12.1%.
Bulgarian Trade with EU for the Period January - April 2012 (preliminary data)
In the period January - April 2012 the Bulgarian exports to the EU decreased by 1.4% compared to the corresponding period of 2011 and amounted to over 7.4 billion Levs while the imports increased by 7.9% and exceeded 8.9 billion Levs.
In April 2012 the exports to the EU increased by 8.2% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and amounted to 2.0 billion Levs while the imports grew by 5.2% and added up to 2.3 billion Levs.
Construction Production Indices in May 2012
According to the preliminary data of the NSI, in May 2012 the index of production in section ‘Construction’, calculated on the base of seasonally adjusted data, kept the level of the previous month.
