Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in May 2016
In May 2016, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 564.8 thousand or by 16.8% above the registered in May 2015. The trips with other purposes (as a guest, education and visit the cultural and sport events) in May 2016 composed the greatest share of the total number of trips of Bulgarian residents abroad - 43.8%, followed by the trips with holiday and recreation purpose - 32.0%, and with professional purpose - 24.2%.
In May 2016, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 808.3 thousand or by 13.1% above the level of May 2015. An increase was registered in the trips with other purposes - by 21.7%, and with holiday and recreation purpose - by 11.8%, while the trips with professional purpose decreased by 5.3%.
Quarterly Labour Cost Index, First Quarter of 2016
Preliminary data of the NSI for the first quarter of 2016 indicate that the total hourly labour cost rose by 7.7% compared to the first quarter of 2015.

In-patient, Out-patient and Other Health Care Establishments as of 31.12.2015 (preliminary data)
According to the preliminary data of the NSI the number of health establishments for hospital aid as of 31.12.2015 was 348 with 51 933 beds. 322 of them were hospitals with 49 028 beds.
The number of out-patient health establishments was 1 915 with 1 044 beds and other health establishments were 136 with 2 394 beds in them.
At the end of 2015 29 093 physicians were in practice under the basic labour contracts in health establishments. Dentists were 7 513 and medical specialists on 'Health cares' - 47 349.

The consumer price index in May 2016 compared to April 2016 was 100.0%, i.e. the monthly inflation was 0.0%.

Bulgarian Trade with EU for the Period January - March 2016 (preliminary data)
In the period January - March 2016 the Bulgarian exports to the EU grew by 2.6% compared to the same period of 2015 and amounted to 7 059.9 Million BGN while the imports from the EU increased by 0.4% and reached 7 853.7 Million BGN.
In March 2016 the exports to the EU rose by 3.5% in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year and amounted to 2 507.0 Million BGN while the imports added up to 2 990.7 Million BGN and increased by 3.6%.
Bulgarian Trade with Third Countries for the Period January - April 2016 (preliminary data)
In the period January - April 2016 the Bulgarian exports to third countries decreased by 13.8% compared to the same period of 2015 and amounted to 4 632.0 Million BGN while the imports dropped by 19.4% and added up to 4 961.6 Million BGN.
In the period January - April 2016 the total value of all exported goods (both for third countries and EU) amounted to 14 226.1 Million BGN and in comparison with the corresponding period of the previous year the exports decreased by 3.0% while the total value of all imported goods added up to 15 504.4 Million BGN and dropped by 8.0%.
Construction Production Indices in April 2016
According to the preliminary data, in April 2016 the index of production in section ‘Construction’ calculated on the base of seasonally adjusted data was 2.1% below the level of the previous month. In April 2016 the working day adjusted index of production in construction decreased by 10.4% in comparison with the same month of 2015.
