Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in October 2021
In October 2021, in the conditions of the continuing epidemic situation, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 519.7 thousand, or by 5.4% above the registered in October 2020.
In October 2021, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 567.6 thousand, or by 35.4% above in comparison with October 2020, as the transit was 53.3% (302.4 thousand) of all visits of foreigners in the country.
Business Conjuncture, November 2021
In November 2021, the total business climate indicator decreases by 2.2 percentage points in comparison with its October level as a result of the worsened business climate in construction, retail trade and service sector.

Goods and passengers carried and transport performance by mode of transport in the third quarter of 2021 (preliminary data)
According to preliminary data during the third quarter of 2021 both the goods carried and the transport performance by the freight land and water transport increased in comparison with the same quarter of 2020.
In the third quarter of 2021 there was a decrease in the transported passengers (by 2.5%) as well in the transport performance (by 1.3%) from the passenger transport (land, water and urban electrical transport) compared to the same period of the previous year.
Turnover Indices in Services in the Third Quarter of 2021
According to the preliminary data for the third quarter of 2021 the total turnover index in section ‘Transportation, storage and post’, calculated on the basis of seasonally adjusted data increased by 2.2% compared to the second quarter of 2021. In section ‘Information and communication’ the turnover index increased by 4.3%.
Tourist Trips and Tourism-related Expenditure of the Population in Third Quarter of 2021 (preliminary data)
In the third quarter of 2021, during the continuing epidemic situation in the country, 1 327.7 thousand Bulgarian residents made tourist trips. The majority - 95.5% of them travelled only within the country, 4.0% - only abroad and 0.5% - both in the country and abroad.
Household Income, Expenditure and Consumption during the Third Quarter of 2021
The total income average per household member during the third quarter of 2021 is 1 938 BGN and increases by 10.5% compared to the same quarter of 2020.
The total expenditure average per household member during the third quarter of 2021 is 1 808 BGN and increases by 15.2% in comparison to the same quarter of 2020.
The consumption of main food products average per household member during the third quarter of 2021 changes compared to the same quarter of 2020.

According to the seasonally adjusted data GDP has a growth of 0.4% in the third quarter of 2021 compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
Price Indices in Agriculture, Third Quarter of 2021
The producer price index in agriculture in the third quarter of 2021 increased by 19.8% in comparison with the same quarter of 2020. The price index of crop output increased by 23.2% and the animal output increased by 1.6%. In comparison with the previous year, the prices of agricultural products went up by 15.5%, as in crop output they increased by 18.2%, and in animal output the increase is by 1.4%.
The index of prices of goods and services currently consumed in agriculture in the third quarter of 2021 was higher by 14.0% compared to the same quarter of the previous year and by 12.8% compared to 2020.

In the third quarter of 2021 the unemployment rate was 4.6%, and the employment rate of population aged 20 - 64 was 74.5%.
