Turnover Indices in 'Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles' in April 2021
According to the preliminary seasonally adjusted data in April 2021 the turnover in ‘Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles’ at constant prices increased by 1.3% compared to the previous month. The working day adjusted turnover rose by 25.9% as compared to the same month of the previous year.
Industrial Production Indices in April 2021
According to the preliminary data in April 2021 the Industrial Production Index, seasonally adjusted increased by 0.2% compared to March 2021.
In April 2021 the working day adjusted Industrial Production Index rose by 22.8% in comparison with the same month of 2020.
Gross Domestic Product for the First Quarter of 2021 (preliminary data)
According to the seasonally adjusted data, GDP decreased by 1.8% in the first quarter of 2021 compared with the same quarter of 2020.
Labor productivity, persons employed and hours worked for the First Quarter of 2021
According to the preliminary data, GDP per person employed increased in real terms by 2.0% in the first quarter of 2021 compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, April 2021
Total Producer Price Index in April 2021 increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month and with 9.8% compared to the same month of 2020. Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in April 2021 increased by 0.9% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2020 the domestic prices rose by 6.8%.

Goods and passengers carried and transport performance by mode of transport in the first quarter of 2021 (preliminary data)
According to preliminary data during the first quarter of 2021 in comparison with the same quarter of 2020 the goods carried and the transport performance by the freight land and water transport increased.
In the first quarter of 2021 there was a decrease both in the transported passengers (by 31.4%) and the transport performance (by 29.4%) from the passenger transport (land, water and urban electrical transport) compared to the same period of the previous year.
Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, March 2021
In March 2021 compared to February 2021 an increase is reported for the production of solid fuels - by 3.2%, liquefied petroleum gases - by 40.0%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 24.2%, transport diesel - by 45.1%, and electricity - by 13.5%. No change for the production of natural gas.
In March 2021 compared to February 2021 an increase is reported for the deliveries of solid fuels - by 4.2%, liquefied petroleum gases - by 15.6%, transport diesel - by 1.9%, natural gas - by 8.6%, and electricity - by 6.4%. A decrease is reported for the deliveries of unleaded motor gasoline - by 5.4%.
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in April 2021
In April 2021, in the conditions of the continuing epidemic situation, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 271.2 thousand.
In April 2021, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 282.5 thousand, as the transit was 61.7% (174.4 thousand) of all visits of foreigners in the country.
